BRIDGE - IS NOT a National Sr. Games event. Doubles competition. Only one division with both men and women.

5K RUN & 5K WALK - The 5K run IS a National Sr. Games event. The event is conducted in accordance with USA Track & Field rules. The 5K walk IS NOT a National Sr. Games event.

BOWLING is a handicap and will consist of singles, doubles and team events, all three game series. USBC rules will prevail. Bowling in the National Senior Games is a Scratch event.

SHUFFLEBOARD -IS a National Sr. Games event. Singles and doubles matches will consist of 8 frames. Rules in accordance with National Shuffleboard Association.

TENNIS - IS a National Sr. Games event. The GOLDEN GAMES offer doubles and mixed doubles in a single elimination tournament. USTA rules govern the event.

CYCLING - The 5K & 10K events are Time Trials. The 20K is a road race. All three events ARE National Senior Games events. U.S. Cycling Federation rules will prevail.

HORSESHOES - IS a National Sr. Games event. The GOLDEN GAMES tournament is a singles, round robin event. Men's 50-69 games will be to 21 points. Men 70+ and all Women's games will be 21 points or 30 pitched shoes which ever is first.

PINOCHLE - IS NOT a National Sr. Games event. It is doubles competition, played with a double deck of cards with the 9's removed.

ARCHERY - IS a National Sr. Games event. The GOLDEN GAMES offers Men & Women's divisions, 450 round competition. Three separate divisions, Compound Finger, Compound Release Aid and Recurve Fingers. Participants may compete in only one division. 45 arrows shot at a distance of 20 yards. FITA rules prevail.

8-BALL - IS NOT a National Sr. Games event. A single elimination tournament with each match consisting of 3 games. Winner of 2 of 3 games advances. American Pool Player Assoc. rules govern tournament play.

ELECTRONIC DARTS - IS NOT a National Sr. Games event. Individual competition, single elimination tournament. Player with highest score after 8 rounds (24 darts) is declared winner. ADA and ARACHNID rules prevail.

MINIATURE GOLF - IS NOT a National Sr. Games event. All participants play one round in groups of four. Scoring the same as in Golf.

RACQUETBALL - IS a National Sr. Games event. The GOLDEN GAMES offer singles and doubles competition in a single elimination tournament. If less than 6 participants register for event, a round robin tournament may be scheduled.

VOLLEYBALL - Men, Women and Co-ed Power Volleyball. The Men & Women's events ARE National Sr. Games events. All play is conducted in accordance with USA Volleyball rules. Game officials are qualified and paid. The GOLDEN GAMES Volleyball Tournament is the largest Senior Games tournament in Missouri . We do not have a player pool, you must already be on a team.

GOLF - IS a National Sr. Games event. Individual play, Shotgun start, no handicap. Winner determined by Gross score in one round of 18 holes.

SWIMMING - IS a National Sr. Games event. The GOLDEN GAMES Swimming events are electronically timed. US Master Swimming ruled prevail.

BASKETBALL FREE THROW - IS NOT a National Sr. Games event. Competition is 25 Free Throws in two sessions ( 10 & 15). Participant with greatest number of successful shots will be declared the winner.

3 ON 3 BASKETBALL- IS a National Sr. Games event. Played 3 on 3, Half Court . Tournament is Round Robin, conducted in accordance with NCAA rules except as modified. Game officials are qualified and paid. We do not have a player pool, you must already be on a team.

SOFTBALL & FOOTBALL THROW - ARE NOT National Sr. Games events. Competition is based on distance and accuracy. Participant will be allowed 3 throws. The distance the ball lands FROM the center line is subtracted from the center line measurement to determine scoring distance.

WASHER TOSS - IS NOT a National Sr. Games event. A game consists of 24 thrown washers. Highest score wins.

NAIL POUNDING -IS NOT a National Sr. Games event. A single elimination tournament. Participants are paired, furnished a 16 oz hammer and one 8 penny nail. Winner is determined by who pounds the nail flush first. Winner of pair advances to next pairing.

AIR GUN - IS NOT a National Sr. Games event. Participants shoot from a distance of 33 ft., 20 consecutive shots at 4 targets. Person scoring most points will be declared winner.

TRAP SHOOT - IS NOT a National Senior Games event. Regulation Trap consists of 2 rounds (50 shots) at 16 yards. Hunters Trap consists of (5) shots at six (6) stations for a total of 30 shots. Person scoring most hits in each event is declared winner. Participants provide their own shotgun. All gauges allowed. Shotguns available for a rental of $3.00 at site.

CASTING - IS NOT a National Senior Games event. We offer Accuracy and Distance competition.
ACCURACY: participant will cast 10 times at 3 clusters set at different distance , 30 ft, (2 pts), 40 ft. (3 pts) and 50 ft. (5 pts.) Person scoring most points will be declared winner.

DISTANCE: participant will cast 3 times parallel a measuring tape, longest reached cast wins. Both events will use a 3/8 oz. Plug.

EUCHRE - IS NOT a National Sr. Games event. It is a doubles competition.

SKEET - IS NOT a National Sr. Games event. Skeet consists of twenty five shots from eight different stations. Person scoring most hits is declared winner. Participants provide their own shotgun. All gauges allowed. Shotguns available for a rental of $3.00 at site.
